Florida Senate Candidate

Florida Man, Senate Candidate Organizing A Rally To Advocate For Release Of Jan. 6 ‘Political Prisoners’

In one of his better roles, Tom Cruise plays Joel Goodson, a high school kid who hopes for an Ivy League education.

Along the way to his entrance interview with a Princeton University recruiter, Cruise becomes entangled with a hooker who encourages him to bring their friends together as a money-making venture.

The recruiter shows up amid a wild party of numerous working girls servicing Cruise’s buddies, and signals that with his high school pedigree. Joel is not quite Ivy League material.

“You know, Bill, there’s one thing I learned in all my years,” Joel tells him. “Sometimes you just gotta say, ’What the f—, make your move.’”

Apparently, Republicans who are not NeverTrumpers have listened.

The Washington Times reported on Thursday that a Florida man named Luis Miguel, a pro-Trumper who intends to challenge Republican Sen. Marco Rubio next year, is organizing an event called “Free Our Patriots Rally in Tally.”

At the event, planned for Saturday at the state Capitol in Tallahassee, Miguel and his crowd will advocate for the release of all Jan. 6 rioters now in custody.

The Times notes that Florida is the state with the most MAGA protesters arrested in connection with the riot at the U.S. Capitol.

“The patriots who have been hunted down by the corrupt, communist FBI are suffering,” Miguel told the Times. “Many of them are veterans who fought for this nation. Let’s do our part to ensure they’re liberated.”

Miguel referred to the disciples of former President Donald Trump now in custody for the riot as “political prisoners.”

According to the Times, the FBI has rounded up 535 people in connection with the riot.

More than 50 are from Florida. And at least 55 of the whole group are military veterans.

“Floridians charged over the riot face various counts ranging from conspiracy and assault on a federal officer, to civil disorder, violent entry and obstruction of an official proceeding, among others,” the Times reported.

On the internet, Miguel said that as a candidate he promises to “take up the Trump banner and make America First his hill to die on.” “The GOP establishment has turned a blind eye to the political prisoners,” he added, “but insurgent patriot candidates haven’t.”

The Times reported that Facebook without explanation has axed two “event” pages Miguel created about the rally.

Democrats will undoubtedly condemn the rally, without bothering to explain why they want to punish Trump followers but support the routine release of common street thugs, defund the police and Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioters whose “protests” in 2020 caused at least two dozen deaths and $2 billion in property damage nationwide.

Perhaps with Miguel’s event, as seen in fights from conservatives on transgender “rights” and Critical Race Theory, the right has learned to say “what the f—, make your move.”
