A Florida man has been arrested and charged with plotting to bomb the New York Stock Exchange, according to the FBI.
Harun Abdul-Malik Yener, 30, of Coral Springs, Florida, was taken into custody after a months-long investigation that began with a tip about bomb-making materials stored in a storage unit.
The FBI uncovered bomb-making sketches, electronic components, and evidence of online searches related to bomb construction dating back to 2017.

Yener allegedly told undercover FBI agents that he planned to detonate the bomb the week before Thanksgiving and identified the New York Stock Exchange in Lower Manhattan as a desirable target.
Yener appeared in court Wednesday afternoon and is being held without bail pending trial.
