Deputies confiscated a trafficking amount of fentanyl and arrested suspected drug dealer out on bond during a traffic stop over the weekend in Florida.

Deputies in Collier County say Ian Marco Flores-Antelo had enough fentanyl to kill 13,000 people and other illegal drugs in his vehicle when deputies pulled him over for failing to stop at an intersection in the Palm River community about 12:45 a.m. Saturday.

“This was a terrific arrest and great job by our deputies preventing dangerous fentanyl from entering our community,” Collier County Sheriff Kevin Rambosk said.

Deputies conducted a probable cause search due to the strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and Flores-Antelo having an expired medical marijuana prescription.

Deputies found 165 fentanyl pills inside the hood. The small blue pills were hidden inside an M&Ms container in a fanny pack. The pills were imprinted with “M” and “30” to resemble legitimate prescription “30 M” oxycodone hydrochloride 30 mg pills. Multiple small clear bags containing rocks of fentanyl were also found inside the hood. A total of 26 grams of fentanyl was recovered.

Deputies also found cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, narcotic paraphernalia, a loaded handgun, and $3,120 cash inside the hood.

Flores-Antelo is in the Collier County jail charged with fentanyl trafficking and multiple other narcotic felonies. He is a documented gang member in Collier County.

At the time of his arrest, he was out on bond for his arrest last October after deputies discovered numerous illegal guns and drugs in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
