A pool installation and payment dispute, between neighbors, ended with a gun being fired and a man arrested.
According to police, on Thursday around 1 p.m., Ocala Police responded to a call where a victim reported his neighbor, Joseph Gunsby, 64, shot at him.
Police say that prior to the shooting, Gunsby had paid the victim to set up a pool in his yard, however, the victim did not finish the job because of a payment dispute.
Gunsby and the victim were arguing with each other outside their respected homes until Gunsby displayed a handgun and pointed it at the victim, according to police.
As the victim ducked and retreated inside his house, Gunsby fired a single shot.
When officers arrived, Gunsby was detained and an investigation was conducted.
Ocala Police found the gun and live ammunition that matched the spent casing on the ground near Gunsby’s front door.
Gunsby was arrested for Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon.
