The Florida Lottery announced on Friday that Andrew Vander Wall, 40, of Naples, claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
“It’s crazy!” Vander Wall said. “I’m still freaking out.”
Vander Wall purchased his winning ticket at Circle K, located at 6615 Dudley Drive in Naples. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
