A Florida man has been charged with felony criminal mischief after causing power outages in multiple areas of one Florida county.
According to Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, Colton Madden was arrested after it was determined he had traveled to multiple locations across eastern Holmes County and caused damage to four West Florida Electric Cooperative (WFEC) transformers totaling more than $20,000.
Deputies say many WFEC customers in different parts of the county lost power as a result.
