MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida man, Bradley Andrew Mullis, 39, was arrested on Saturday night after his young child was found unattended near U.S. 1.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office discovered the toddler in pajamas wandering near the busy highway in Islamorada around 11:46 p.m. Two bystanders intervened to prevent the child from running into traffic.

The child was unharmed and identified as Mullis’ child, who lived nearby.
