Deputies arrested a Florida man wanted for aggravated assault Tuesday after it was found he threatened a woman and her children with a firearm.
Alan Michael Kelly, 30, was served with active warrants by Walton County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday night on four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, battery, and tampering with a victim after an incident on August 5th on Punch Bowl Road in DeFuniak Springs.
The witness told deputies Kelly threatened them with a loaded firearm, hit her in the face, and fired a shot into the wall during the attack.

While he was taken into custody, Kelly was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia including a syringe.
