A Florida man is recovering after a confrontation with his lawn worker led to him being attacked with a weed wacker.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office report, on Wednesday a landscaper who had been working for the victim did unauthorized work and demanded payment.
The victim told the man he didn’t have the money at the time, but he would have it the following day after getting paid.
Deputies say the landscaper retreated towards his black pickup truck to retrieve a weed wacker, demanding payment.
The victim offered a partial payment as the worker approached him with a gas-powered weed trimmer and continued to demand payment.
The man began chasing the victim around the neighbor’s car and yard swinging the weed wacker. At one point, he shoved the weed wacker in the victim’s face causing injuries.
The landscaper fled the area, but the scene was caught on home surveillance cameras.
No arrest has been made in this case and the investigation continues.
