A 39-year-old man, Carlos Juan Rodriguez, is facing serious charges after a Collier County Sheriff’s Office investigation uncovered evidence of video voyeurism and possession of child sex abuse material.
Collier County Sheriff Kevin Rambosk emphasized the department’s commitment to combating child predators, stating, “We are continuing to send a strong message to child predators that we are going to find them.”

The investigation, conducted in partnership with the Southwest Florida INTERCEPT Task Force and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, revealed Rodriguez was uploading and transmitting child sexual abuse material to his social media accounts. The disturbing content included images and videos depicting children as young as infants engaged in sexual acts or being victimized.
Detectives also discovered videos of a child taking a shower that Rodriguez secretly recorded and then shared online.
