A 39-year-old man from Panama City Beach was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) at the Fruitland Park library on Thursday morning. Police were called to the library around 10:30 a.m. after reports of a disturbance.
Police found Carl Rex Hubbard sitting in a blue Kia Sorrento with the keys in the ignition.
According to The Villages-News, a witness told officers that Hubbard had been drinking from a bottle, which was later discovered to be Jim Beam whiskey and located in a nearby trash can.
