A 31-year-old Florida man is facing multiple felony charges after he was found with methamphetamine while checking in with State Probation.
On Monday, August 19th, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from the State Probation Office on Highway 90. Brandon Lee Harris, of DeFuniak Springs, was discovered attempting to hide methamphetamine in a small plastic bag, along with two syringes and a nasal spray bottle containing an unidentified substance.

Harris admitted knowing he had drugs and paraphernalia on him before arriving for his scheduled meeting with his Probation Officer. The nasal spray bottle has been sent for testing.
Harris was arrested and taken to the Walton County Jail. He faces charges of felony violation of probation, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently being held without bond.
