A Florida man is facing charges after allegedly pointing a gun at another patron during an altercation at a Clearwater bar sparked by frustration over a malfunctioning karaoke machine.

Aaron Jablonski, 34, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred on March 15th at the Overtime Sports Bar on Sunset Point Road in Clearwater. According to a complaint and arrest affidavit, Jablonski “became upset” due to problems with the karaoke machine.

After leaving the bar and going outside, Jablonski encountered another patron who was smoking and attempted to calm him down. However, Jablonski allegedly remained enraged about the disrupted karaoke night.

The affidavit states that Jablonski then pulled a gun from his waistband, pointed it at the other patron, and said, “I don’t f—ing care.”

Jablonski did not fire the weapon. As he turned to walk away, he allegedly “racked a round out of his gun,” according to the arrest report.

The other patron then went back into the bar and called 911.

Jablonski was arrested later that night and held on a $40,000 bond. He was released from custody on March 18th. A hearing in the case took place on March 16th.

A judge issued a no-contact order, barring Jablonski from being within 500 feet of the victim, and a stay-away order, prohibiting him from returning to the Overtime Sports Bar.
