A 20-year-old Florida man, armed with a knife, was arrested Saturday after threatening to kill another man in the Florida Keys. There were no serious injuries reported, according to deputies.
Samuel De Jesus Cartagena of Miami-Dade County, was charged with aggravated assault and battery.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a beach area regarding a disturbance, fight at Gilbert’s Resort in Key Largo at approximately 12:18 p.m.

Deputies say Cartagena, 20, hit a female victim and then held a knife to the male victim’s throat while threatening to kill him.
The incident was recorded on surveillance cameras, according to investigators.
Cartagena was booked into the Monroe County Jail.
