A Florida man was arrested last week after forcibly entering a school bus, spitting on and punching the school bus driver, according to deputies.
Deputies say, on Wednesday, March 2 at approximately 4 p.m., Pasco Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a disturbance on a school bus.
Deputies discovered Jarrett Farr, 37, entered a school bus by forcing the closing door open then cursed and struck the bus driver on the hand leaving a “contusion” about one inch in diameter.
Deputies say Farr knocked the radio from the bus driver’s hand and then spit on the driver’s face.
The bus driver appeared to have minor injuries as a result, and the bus sustained damage as well.
A student that witnessed the events, confirmed to investigators, the bus driver’s story.
Farr is charged with Burglary with Simple Battery/Assault, Criminal Mischief, and Battery on a School Employee. He was booked into the Land O’ Lakes detention facility.
