PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A 58-year-old Gibsonton man and a 51-year-old Phoenix woman were killed in a crash that happened on Saturday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say an SUV was traveling northbound in the driveway of 10596 Gandy Boulevard approaching a stop sign at Gandy Boulevard.
A motorcycle, driven by the Gibsonton man, was traveling eastbound on Gandy Boulevard when the SUV entered the path of and was struck by the motorcycle.

Upon impact, both occupants of the motorcycle were ejected onto the roadway with the driver suffering fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The motorcycle passenger, from Arizona, was transported to an area hospital where she later expired from injuries suffered during the crash.
