After holding a special legislative session next week, Florida lawmakers are slated to return to the Capitol in mid-November for four days of committee and subcommittee meetings to prepare for the 2024 regular session.
Meetings will start Nov. 13, with the House Select Committee on Health Innovation and the House Select Committee on Hurricane Resiliency & Recovery scheduled to meet that day.
Meetings will continue through Nov. 16.

The budget-writing House Appropriations Committee is scheduled to meet Nov. 14, while the Senate Appropriations Committee is slated for Nov. 16. Committees and subcommittees are working on issues in advance of the Jan. 9 start of the 2024 session.
