Florida youth are being offered an incredible opportunity to experience the great outdoors this summer, thanks to scholarships provided by the Florida Airboat Association and the Kissimmee River Valley Sportsman Association.
Ten lucky children will receive full scholarships to attend a week-long residential summer camp at one of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC) top-notch outdoor youth camps.
Five girls will be chosen to attend the Everglades Youth Conservation Center (EYCC) in West Palm Beach, while five boys or girls will have the chance to attend the Ocala Outdoor Adventure Camp (OOAC) in Ocala. Both camps offer a rich experience in outdoor skills, conservation education, and exciting recreational activities such as fishing, wildlife viewing, and safe firearm handling.

To ensure fairness, recipients will be chosen randomly from applications submitted online:
The scholarships cover 100% of the registration fee for a summer camp session at either EYCC or OOAC. Furthermore, selected participants will be invited to participate in a youth hunt with the Youth Hunting Program of Florida, providing even more opportunities to connect with Florida’s outdoor heritage.
Children aged 8 to 16 are eligible to apply. Parents and guardians can submit one entry per child.
The deadline to apply for these fantastic Summer Camp Scholarships is April 30th. Don’t miss this chance to give your child an unforgettable outdoor adventure!
