Florida House, Senate Set For Committee Week

Continuing to prepare for the 2023 legislative session, the Florida Senate is scheduled to hold four days of committee meetings during the week of Feb. 6, while the House is slated to hold three days of meetings.

Continuing to prepare for the 2023 legislative session, the Florida Senate is scheduled to hold four days of committee meetings during the week of Feb. 6, while the House is slated to hold three days of meetings.

The Senate has set aside time for four committee meetings on Feb. 6 and will continue meetings through Feb. 9, according to a schedule posted on its website.

Among other things, the Senate Appropriations Committee is scheduled to meet on Feb. 7.

The House, meanwhile, is slated to hold meetings from Feb. 7 through Feb. 9, with the House Appropriations Committee meeting Feb. 7.

Lawmakers held three weeks of committee meetings this month and will hold three more weeks of meetings in February in advance of the session, which will start on March 7.
