Florida Homeowner Shoots One Of Two Burglars, Police Searching For The Second

Democratic politicians running on tough-on-crime platforms are making names for themselves in many prominent races, and some have even won elections in deep-blue cities drowning in violent crime.

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida homeowner has stopped a burglary in their home after shooting one of the two men that broke in.

Leesburg detectives are currently working the burglary case at a residence on Flora View Lane, where the homeowner shot one of two men as they entered the residence.

The burglar who was shot was transported to a local trauma center for treatment and the second suspect fled the area on foot.

A perimeter was immediately established and a search was conducted with negative results, according to police.

The outstanding suspect is described as a W/M, 5’8”- 5’9”, slim build, who was reported to be wearing a black hoodie and tan shorts when he fled on foot in a northerly direction.

Fortunately, the homeowner was uninjured during the incident and the case remains under investigation by our detectives.
