A Florida man and woman were killed in a crash that happened around 3:22 am on Sunday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say a SUV was traveling northbound on CR-209, north of CR-202 in Sumter County when the vehicle entered the west shoulder.
According to investigators the driver over-corrected the vehicle back onto the roadway where it rotated, collided with a mailbox, and overturned.
Both the driver, a 21-year-old man from Summerfield, and his passenger, a 32-year-old Mexico City woman, were ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
Troopers say both the driver and passenger were not wearing seatbelts.
