Florida Highway Patrol is seeking the driver in a hit and run that left a man and woman seriously injured, while they were in there home Sunday night.
According to investigators, a car was traveling northbound on Pleasure Drive approaching Darlington Road, in Holiday, Florida, when the driver failed to stop for the stop sign located at the intersection.
Troopers say the vehicle continued north, attempting to make a left turn onto Darlington Road; however, the vehicle entered the north shoulder and collided with the east wall of a residential home, as well as portions of a wooden fence located at 4121 Darlington Road located at 4414 Darlington Road.
Following the crash, the driver fled the scene on foot and was not located despite an extensive search.
The occupants of the home, a 33-year-old male and a 31-year-old female, both suffered serious injuries and were transported to area hospitals.
