A small plane made a successful emergency landing on Thursday afternoon in the Atlantic Ocean near Sombrero Beach Road in Marathon, Florida.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries. The incident occurred around 12:58 pm.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, bystanders on the water reportedly rescued an adult male and female on board the aircraft.

The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the emergency landing.
