TAMPA– Friday, Florida Highway Patrol troopers helped bring a baby girl into the world on the downtown, on the streets of Tampa.
Florida Troopers aren’t always delivering tickets — sometimes they deliver babies!

Today, Troopers in Tampa helped deliver a baby girl into the world. They shielded the car with raincoats & gave the family a special FHP escort while they were transported to a local hospital. ? pic.twitter.com/BYeVdxFq6H
Troopers covered the car with their raincoats as the woman gave birth to her baby girl.
Witnesses said the family’s car, with the laboring mother, was stuck in a roadblock due to the protests in the city. After the baby girl was born, the troopers escorted the family to the hospital.
