The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), in partnership with 11 other local law enforcement agencies, conducted a large-scale public safety operation on Wednesday, targeting dangerous driving behaviors along a 100-mile stretch of US-19.
The effort, which included agencies from Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties, marked the second successful collaboration this year to combat speeding, aggressive driving, and driving under the influence.
The operation follows an initial effort in August that achieved similarly impactful results, reinforcing the commitment of local law enforcement to promoting safer roads.
