Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis reiterated on Monday that pro-Hamas foreign students protesting on U.S. college campuses should be sent packing.
Appearing on Newsmax, the Republican governor was asked to respond to the Biden administration’s refusal to address his recent comments that such left-wing students should be sent home.
“A foreigner does not have a right to be here. They’re here at the grace of the American people. If they’re on a student visa, that is absolutely revocable,” DeSantis told anchor Eric Bolling.
“If you’re a foreign national on a student visa (and) if you’re out demonstrating in favor of Hamas and terrorist attacks against innocent people in Israel, I would yank the visa. I would send you home. … We have every right to do it.”

DeSantis added that those spots at U.S. colleges could then be opened to Americans.
The Florida governor and 2024 presidential hopeful also said we could learn from Europe, which in recent years has “imported” massive amounts of foreigners who express pro-Hamas sentiment, and anti-Semitism.
“I don’t want that here in the United States, so yes, we would be very forceful. We’ll send people back because we just need to nip this in the bud,” he added.
“To support openly a terrorist organization is a new low for a lot of these universities.”
