In response to Hamas’s attack, Israel is getting ready to invade Gaza from the ground, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced on Thursday that he has made arrangements to send Israel drones, weapons, and ammunition.
DeSantis has strongly supported Israel and evacuated Americans from the war zone.
According to governor’s office spokesman Jeremy Redfern, Florida has dispatched cargo planes carrying body armor, helmets, drones, and medical supplies.

According to Redfern, the state also collaborated with organizations to provide an undisclosed quantity of privately funded firearms and ammunition.
The announcement made by DeSantis caused misunderstandings between the Florida governor’s office and an Israeli ambassador.
The governor’s office stated that it took action at the general consul of Israel in Miami’s request.
However, General Maor Elbaz-Starinsky, the consul, stated that he had not approached the governor about assistance in obtaining weapons or ammunition from private sources, nor had he asked for drones, body armor, or helmets.
When questioned about Elbaz-Starinsky’s remarks, Redfern told the AP that the consul general had contacted the governor’s office.

DeSantis frequently uses his official authority to carry out decisions that support his more ambitious political objectives.
The military aid has been confirmed, and this coincides with DeSantis and other GOP presidential candidates likely to attend the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual donor conference, which begins this Friday in Las Vegas.
At a casino resort on the Las Vegas Strip, DeSantis is expected to address a Nevada Republican organization on Saturday morning.
