Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said Thursday that his trip to Ireland this weekend for the Florida State University vs. Georgia Tech football game will also include business development efforts.
Speaking in Titusville, where he announced funding for a new industrial park, DeSantis highlighted plans to meet with Irish companies to strengthen Florida’s economic ties with Europe.

“We’re meeting with a bunch of Irish companies to try to expand some of our economic relationships across the pond,” DeSantis said.
He also joked about the possibility of attracting iconic brands to the Sunshine State, saying, “If I can get them to put a Guinness factory in Florida, I mean, that’d be really tough to pass on. So, I’m going to work on that.”
