Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ political committee raised slightly more than $350,000 in January as speculation builds that he will run for president in 2024.
The Friends of Ron DeSantis committee collected $350,488 during the month and had nearly $70.4 million in cash on hand as of Jan. 31, according to a new report posted on the state Division of Elections website.
The committee spent $415,867 during the month, with the largest amount being a $142,388 payment to the Four Seasons Hotel Miami on Jan. 27 for what is described in the report as a “meeting expense.”
