Florida gas prices experienced another week of volatility, according to AAA – The Auto Club Group. After hitting a 15-month low of $2.96 per gallon last Monday, the state average rebounded by 19 cents per gallon, reaching $3.15/g by Thursday.
This price is still 8 cents lower than the highest daily average recorded this year.
“Florida gas prices followed a familiar trend of rising in the first half of the week, then falling through the weekend,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman for AAA. “This cycle has carried on since September, with pump prices mostly swinging between $3.00/g and $3.20/g.”

Meanwhile, the U.S. price of crude oil saw its most expensive week of March. The closing price on Friday was $69.36, approximately $2/b higher than the average price of crude over the past three weeks.
