Florida drivers got a small break last week as gas prices edged down by 3 cents per gallon. The state average on Sunday was $3.07 per gallon, compared to $3.10 the previous week.
While this dip offers some relief, prices remain higher than a month ago, when the average was $3.07 per gallon, and significantly higher than this time last year, when the average was $3.35 per gallon.
Gas prices vary across the state, with the most expensive metro markets being:
- West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($3.22)
- Naples ($3.18)
- Gainesville ($3.15)
