During the investigation, a juvenile at the party experienced an alcohol-related medical event and required treatment from Brevard County Fire Rescue (BCFR). Officers witnessed Hill-Brodigan turn off the outside lights of her residence and go inside as BCFR was treating the intoxicated juvenile, forcing first responders to use auxiliary lighting from their vehicle. A separate traffic stop near the residence resulted in the arrest of a juvenile driver for DUI.

Karly Anderson, identified as a teacher at Roosevelt Elementary, approached officers at the scene, admitting to being at the party. She was visibly intoxicated.
