TAMPA, Fla.- The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is seeking tips to identify the person(s) responsible for dumping eight 55-gallon drums of suspected petroleum product.
On August 26, 2023 between 12:58pm and 1:03pm, an unknown suspect(s) illegally dumped eight (8) black, metal 55-gallon drums containing a suspected petroleum product on the county right-of-way at Port Sutton Road, off Highway 41.
Surveillance video revealed the possible suspect vehicle to be an older model, 4-door SUV, believed to be a Jeep Grand Cherokee that is black or dark blue that can be seen towing an open trailer.
