Since conservative commentator Matt Walsh released his explosive documentary on transgender ideology in June 2022, leftists have been unable or unwilling to answer the pivotal question of the actual discussion: What is a woman?
On Wednesday, the top Democrat in Florida still had no answer to that query, or a variation of it.
In Tallahassee, protesters on both sides of the abortion debate gathered as the Florida Supreme Court heard arguments about the left’s proposed amendment to put a right to abortion in the state Constitution.

The conservative website Florida’s Voice asked Florida Democratic Party Chairwoman Nikki Fried a simple question about the measure she champions.
“Would you say that a transgender woman could give birth, or get an abortion?” Florida’s Voice asked.
Fried immediately punted.
“I am not a doctor,” she began.
“This amendment speaks for itself. It’s very clear on the language,” Fried continued.
“It goes back to medical professionals – not politicians, not elected officials – telling people what to do with their bodies and interfering with a medical decision.”
Suffice it to say that Fried had a wholly different position on COVID-19 vaccines.

As Florida’s Voice noted, the actual language of the amendment states: “No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider.”
So far, Fried and other Democrats have refused to define what “viability” means, saying that depends on “medical professionals.”
Yet that also leaves the door open to interpretations that viability means until the baby is actually born.
