TAMPA, Fla. – On September 15, 2019, shortly after 9 p.m., at Palifox Street E. near 44th Street N., an adult male, identified as Donta Allen, was found suffering from upper body trauma.

Donta later died at a hospital as a result of his injuries.

Law Enforcement learned approximately 20 minutes before Donta’s murder that he was dropped off near NetPark in the 5700 block of Hillsborough Avenue E.

It is, however, unclear how Donta ended up at Palifox Street E. and 44th Street N.

Tampa Police released two photographs at the time that show Donta Allen sitting on a table at NetPark approximately 10 minutes before he was found at Palifox Street E. and 44th Street N. with fatal injuries.

Tampa Police are seeking to identify and locate two other people seen in the photographs – a woman standing near a tree at the top of the planter and a man with a backpack and a bicycle sitting on the planter.
