State Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis raised more than $176,000 for his political committee in January, a newly filed report shows.
The Treasure Florida committee pulled in $176,520 during the month and had about $6.23 million in cash on hand as of Jan. 31.
Contributions in January included $25,000 from U.S. Sugar Corp., $10,000 from Dosal Tobacco Corp., and $10,000 from TECO Energy, Inc., the report posted on the state Division of Elections website shows. Patronis cruised to re-election in November.
