Kini was hatched at The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and is 7 years old. This makes her now the youngest penguin resident at The Florida Aquarium. Kini came to the Aquarium to be a mate for our male African penguin Pebles,  who was previously our only penguin without a mate. The Aquarium now has 10 African penguins, which you can see on the Aquarium pathway in the Mosaic Center, or by purchasing a Penguin Backstage Pass at Guest Services upon arrival to the Aquarium.

This 20-minute interaction gets you up close and personal with our penguins and allows you to learn more about the species, see them swim in their pool, get fed, and allows you to get some awesome pictures with the animals.
