Florida AMBER Alert Canceled For Miami Gardens Child, Located Safe

This is a cancellation of the Florida AMBER Alert that was issued for Liam Smith. The child has been located and is safe.

ORIGINAL REPORT: A statewide AMBER Alert has been activated by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for Liam Smith, who was last seen in the vicinity of the 17700th block of Northwest 14th Avenue in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Authorities are urging the public to be vigilant and report any information regarding Liam’s whereabouts.

Liam is described as last wearing a light blue school uniform shirt, dark blue pants, and black shoes. A distinctive feature noted by authorities is a scab under his eye.

The child may be in the company of Tameeka Budwah. Investigators believe they may be traveling in a 2024, black Honda Civic with Florida license plate number RJVLSS. Their direction of travel is potentially northbound.

Authorities are asking anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact the Miami Gardens Police Department at or call 911.
