Aleah Conrad, a missing child who was the subject of a Florida Amber Alert, has been found safe in North Carolina, according to a release by Sergeant Zachary Huff of the Pinellas Park Police Department.

The child is currently in the care of local authorities, and efforts are underway to reunite her with her mother.

The discovery comes after an intensive investigation that led to charges against Kassin Rodriguez for Interference with Child Custody and False Imprisonment. An arrest warrant was issued for Rodriguez based on evidence gathered during the investigation.

North Carolina authorities located Aleah in the company of Rodriguez. He was subsequently taken into custody based on the outstanding warrant.

Details regarding the specific location in North Carolina where Aleah and Rodriguez were found have not been released at this time.

Aleah is described as a white female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, black shorts, and black and white high-top Nike sneakers. She may also be carrying a black backpack.

Authorities believe Aleah may be in the company of Kassin Rodriguez, a white-Hispanic male 5 feet 6 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black American Eagle shirt, black pants, a gray hat with a blue logo and brim, and a blue drawstring bag.

Rodriguez has distinctive features, including a full face, a short-trimmed beard, a Japanese tribal tattoo on his left forearm, and a dragon tattoo on his left shoulder.

They may be traveling in a vehicle, possibly heading towards the Greensboro, North Carolina area.
