Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody’s Office of Statewide Prosecution (OSP) announced the arrest of a key supplier, William Moyo, linked to the “Big Boi” drug-trafficking network in Boynton Beach. Moyo faces felony charges for trafficking cocaine and conspiracy, accused of providing large quantities of cocaine and fentanyl to the ring.

This arrest builds on previous efforts, with 17 individuals already apprehended in connection with the Big Boi operation. Authorities uncovered over 20 kilograms of cocaine at Moyo’s residence.

The ring distributed fentanyl and cocaine throughout Palm Beach County, and law enforcement has seized a combined 50 pounds of illicit substances so far.

“Law enforcement continues to take poison peddlers and their deadly products off our streets, and this latest arrest should serve as a warning to anyone looking to traffic drugs in our state. Florida law enforcement will track you down, and my Statewide Prosecutors will ensure you end up in prison,” said Moody.

Moyo’s case and those of the other 17 defendants are being prosecuted by the Attorney General’s OSP. The investigations into the Big Boi drug trafficking ring are ongoing.
