A proposed constitutional amendment in Florida that would guarantee abortion rights in the state has seen an influx of contributions totaling $509,000 this past week.
The measure has been gathering momentum in recent months and has become a focal point of political attention and public debate within the state.
The Floridians Protecting Freedom political committee, which is spearheading the campaign to pass the proposed constitutional amendment on the November ballot, had raised a substantial $38.78 million as of July 5.

In the week leading up to July 5, the committee secured an additional $509,328, contributing to the total.
As of July 5, the committee had spent approximately $22.89 million, with $160,375 utilized the week before. These expenditures are primarily directed toward promoting awareness and garnering support for the amendment among Florida voters.
