THONOTOSASSA, Fla. – Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Detectives ask the public for tips in a Halloween party homicide.
On November 1, 2022, at 2:15 a.m., law enforcement received reports that multiple shots were fired in the 9000 block of Harney Road in Thonotosassa.
Shortly after the reports, deputies were notified that a victim had been shot and was at the 301 Petrol Mart located at 11511 Highway 301.

Detectives were quickly able to link both incidents together and determine unknown suspect(s) had fired shots during a Halloween party at a residence after an argument occurred.
The victim, Laci Gilileo, 15 years old, was shot at the Halloween party and taken to a local hospital. Laci died as a result of the injuries she sustained. An adult male victim had also sustained gunshot wounds.
According to witnesses, there were over 100 attendees at the Halloween party.
