PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Flooding from Hurricane Milton has prompted the closure of all lanes of State Road 54 at both Rowan Road and Old County Road 54.

Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area and seek alternate routes.

Multiple Agencies Conduct Water Rescues In Pasco County Amid Anclote River Flooding

A multi-agency effort is underway to rescue residents stranded by rising floodwaters from the Anclote River in Pasco County. The flooding, a result of Hurricane Milton, has impacted the area of Mitchell Boulevard and Little Road.

Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco was on scene, joining forces with Pasco County Fire Rescue, the National Guard, the Florida State Guard, and other law enforcement partners to conduct water rescues.

Approximately 60 people have been rescued from the floodwaters so far, and rescue efforts are ongoing.
