SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flood warning for Sarasota County, particularly in low-lying areas near the Myakka River. As of 11:13 a.m. today, the river at Myakka River State Park is still rising, increasing the flood risk.
