LUTZ, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue battled a residential structure fire in Lutz late Monday morning.
According to officials, at around 11:50 AM on Monday, the dispatch center received multiple 911 calls from individuals reporting a manufactured home on Martha Circle in Lutz was on fire.
The callers reported that the fire was spreading from the air conditioning unit.
“Our engines could see a column of smoke from a distance and called a working fire. The first arriving engine confirmed fire coming from the residence, stating it was half involved,” said HCFR.

Firefighters knocked the blaze down from the structure’s exterior, completely extinguishing it within 25 minutes.
There were no occupants inside the house at the time. Additional crews supplied the first arriving fire engine with water and supported firefighting operations.
There were no injuries to civilians or first responders. HCFR’s Investigations Unit is on the scene investigating the cause. The American Red Cross has been contacted to assist the displaced adult.
