POLK COUNTY, Fla. – FEMA has opened a Disaster Recovery Center in Polk County to provide personalized assistance to Floridians impacted by Hurricane Milton. Residents affected by Hurricanes Helene and Debby can also seek help at this center.

Important Information about the Center:

  • Location: W.H. Stuart Center, 1702 South Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL 33830
  • Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Sunday
  • Accessibility: The center is accessible to people with disabilities and equipped with assistive technology.
  • No cash assistance: FEMA does not distribute cash at Disaster Recovery Centers.

While the Disaster Recovery Center offers in-person support, survivors have several options for applying for FEMA assistance:

  • Phone: 800-621-3362 (please be aware that wait times may be longer due to high call volume)
