TAMPA, Fla. – A serious traffic crash involving three vehicles has closed a portion of northbound Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa for hours on Saturday.
The accident, currently under investigation by Tampa Police, resulted in the death of one passenger at the scene.
The northbound lanes of Dale Mabry Highway from Chestnut Street to Spruce Street, along with the east side of Spruce Street, were closed for several hours as investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash. All lanes have since reopened.

Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
