HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A fiery crash on Interstate 75 early this morning resulted in the death of a driver. Around 2:38 AM, a Lexus NX300 was traveling northbound on I-75, just north of the US-301 interchange, when the driver lost control.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the vehicle veered off the road, entered the grassy median, and collided with a roadside sign.

The impact propelled the vehicle into the concrete and metal support structure of an overhead ramp sign. The Lexus subsequently caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames.
Tragically, the driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the male driver.
