Plant City Woman Killed In SR-60 Intersection Crash

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 46-year-old Plant City woman died in a collision on State Road 60 (SR-60) at Ware Road on March 14, 2025.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a Toyota Camry westbound on SR-60. A 19-year-old man was driving a Jeep Wrangler eastbound on the same road.

As the Camry driver attempted to make a left turn onto Ware Road, her vehicle entered the path of the oncoming Jeep Wrangler, resulting in a collision.

The 46-year-old woman, the driver of the Camry, sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she later died. The 19-year-old driver of the Jeep Wrangler was uninjured in the crash.
