SARASOTA, Fla. -The Sarasota Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the fatal two-vehicle collision, which occurred shortly before 10:00 PM Wednesday near the intersection of North Tuttle Avenue and Fruitville Road.
All lanes of Fruitville Road were closed in the area but have since reopened.

The Sarasota Police Department will update the crash investigation as more information becomes available.
